Happy New Year from the KBA Canada team! As we bid farewell to the old and embrace the new, we hope this newsletter finds you in high spirits and filled with renewed energy for the possibilities that lie ahead for this year.

We are thrilled to announce the release of KBA Canada’s 2023 Annual Report! This brief summary report encapsulates the remarkable journey the KBA program undertook over 2023. The past year saw us surpass 100 KBAs on the National Registry, the start of many new and impactful partnerships with NGOs and Indigenous communities, and even a photo contest where impassioned individuals shared their best snapshots of KBAs and KBA species and ecosystems across the country. The Annual Report is a summary and testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire KBA Canada team, and contributors and supporters to the KBA initiative.
